Dr. Thomas has more than fourteen years of surgical experience, and his hospital trusted him with more than an operating room: he served as Department Chair of Orthopedic Surgery, Chief of Surgery, and on the Medical Executive Committee – the roles responsible for holding other physicians to the standard of care.
Today, this work is all he does. For more than seven years, the busiest attorneys representing injured patients have relied on his review to decide which cases are real. He has personally reviewed more than 3,000 cases – spanning nearly every kind of medical care, from surgery and childbirth to emergency rooms and nursing homes.
And he works on one side only: the patient's. He does not testify as a paid expert witness, and he does not work for hospitals, insurance companies, or the physicians whose care is in question. Nothing pulls against giving you a straight answer.
He does not rely on opinion alone.
